I recently read an article about how a local Denny's denied police service if they had their weapons on them. Whats do you think about that? On duty, out of uniform police officers, there for our safety being asked to leave because they are carrying their service pistols. Don't you think that's a little absurd? How do you plan on relying on your law enforcement if they can't carry their weapons? This new consciousnesses about guns is starting to get out of hand.
Here is Washington state, we have an "open carry" law, as well as the right to conceal personal weapons. Recently, I believe 2004 or 2008 we approved a bill so that those card holders may not enter public places, like parks, zoos, or concerts. Now we are not only seeing that discrimination against our law abiding citizens but also our police officers.
When we lose so much faith in humanity that we can't trust those in charge, we need to make a change. We must recognize as a society where we are going with our country and provide feedback to our officials. We must stop this fear that guns are ruining this country because they aren't its the lack of education, lack of security, and lack of a possible future the frightens us.
Stop worrying about gun laws because the constitution covers us. As the law states: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Be Safe.
